long time no see!
This painting is actually 3 years old, started at a time before I was seriously practicing hands, but was on my way to get interested into multiple light sources.
I donated this one for a crossover tutorial together with Annie Stegg. That means that we have been working on this character together and finally produced two versions of it that were published in D'Artiste Fashion Design.
D'Artiste Fashion Design can be seen as a bundle together with D'Artiste Character Design. In one book you learn how to design convincing characters and in the other, how to dress them.
The dressing up of characters is something seen not important enough by too many and so we have many characters with bad costume design around. While at Film and Television, there actually is good pay for desinging great customes, among digital artists and designers knowing about fashion as in silhouettes, functionality and material seems to be not so much of a must know yet.
Perhaps this book will change that.
